Reconstruction Underway at South Hampstead Tennis Club5th August 2002 Work commenced today to upgrade all five courts at South Hampstead Tennis Club to PlayRites' Quickcourt synthetic turf. South Hampstead Tennis Club selected The Sports Construction Consultancy to oversee the work for which the main contractor is Trevor May Contractors. All courts will be out of action but the fifth court is soon to be floodlit and the club will then have five floodlit courts available for the future. The contract period is expected to be seven weeks which should allow the use of carpet adhesives before the weather starts to deteriorate. |
